Batson Jewelry Hosts First Annual Open House

A portion of sales was donated to the Forrest Spence Fund and Susan G. Komen for the Cure

Nashville, TN – December 7, 2009 – Batson Jewelry hosted their first annual Open House on Saturday, November 14, 2009 from 9:00am to 12:00pm.

Guests were encouraged to browse the collection and ask questions regarding custom pieces to the jewelry designer, Christine Batson.

To help raise money for the Forrest Spence Fund (www.forrestspencefund.com), guests were able to purchase jewelry at discounted rates. The Forrest Spence Fund assists with the non-medical needs of critically or chronically ill children and their families throughout the Mid-South. Guests were also able to support Breast Cancer Awareness and Susan G. Komen for the Cure (www.komen.org) by purchasing pieces made from Pink Ivory wood.

“I recently found out about Batson Jewelry through a friend,” said Lori Cain, an attendee at the event and customer of Batson Jewelry. “I really enjoy everything I have bought from Batson Jewelry, and I am thrilled that they take the time to help out local and national charities. It makes me want to buy even more and refer more business to them!”
